The Big Screen Returns! Koorda Drive-In 2026 Season
The wait is over! The iconic big screen at the Koorda Drive-In will soon flicker back to life,
and we are excited to announce the opening of our 2026 season.
Join us on Sunday 1 March, a long weekend, as we kick off another year of movies under the stars.
There’s nothing quite like the Koorda Drive-In experience, the fresh country air, the glow of the screen, and the chance to share a relaxed night out with family, friends, and visitors to our town.
We’re looking forward to bringing you a great line-up of films throughout the season and welcoming you back to enjoy everything
the Koorda Drive-In has to offer.
So, mark the date in your calendar, pack the car, and get ready for a classic Wheatbelt night at the movies.
We can’t wait to see you there

Running time 97 minutes
Officers Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde are still fighting to be taken seriously as detectives - a struggle that gets worse when their off-the-books smuggling probe turns into a public disaster. With Chief Bogo threatening to split them up, the pair chase one last lead: a mysterious snake seen near the crime scene. That trail leads them to Gary DeSnake, a pit viper fugitive obsessed with exposing a secret behind the city's climate-controlling weather walls.

Running time 97 minutes
A spoof that crosses Downton Abbey with Airplane! and Monty Python, Fackham Hall follows lovable pick-pocket Eric Noone as he lands a job at a unique English manor house. He quickly rises through the ranks, and a forbidden romance with lady-of-the-house Rose Davenport blossoms. But when an unexpected murder occurs, Eric gets framed - leaving Rose and her family’s future perilously uncertain.

The Koorda Community Drive-In was built by the Shire in October 1965. Paddy Baker was the first lessee, and he employed two local men,
Len Thompson and Jim Weymouth to run the projectors.
The Sound of Music was one of the first movies to be shown and was so popular it had to be shown for three nights in a row.
